Also called Thief - Bandit

A on the middle of 3 lists · contested: lists range from S to B

Bandit is a second-job Thief branch with the highest raw single-target damage in melee range via Savage Blow, but gives up Assassin's ranged safety to get it. Tier lists disagree on exactly how high it ranks, but every list places it in the upper half.

Bandit playstyle

Bandit's Savage Blow deletes single targets fast at melee range, giving it some of the highest sustained DPS of any second job despite gearing disadvantages guides mention for the Thief line. The tradeoff for that damage is standing in melee range instead of Assassin's ranged Lucky Seven.

How to get Bandit

Pick Thief as your base class at level 10 from the Dark Lord in Kerning City, then advance to Bandit at level 30 from the Thief job trainer.

Who should pick Bandit

Players who want the highest melee single-target damage and do not mind the closer range.
